Associate Product Manager
- The Global Marketing Coordinator supports both product planning and product marketing.
- This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Coordinate functional marketing responsibilities of assigned products and lead strategic and tactical execution to maximize sales opportunities, drive competitive advantage and optimize financial performance.
- The Global Marketing Coordinator's job also includes working with the Sr. Manager, Global Marketing to ensure that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Fosters and maintains effective communication with Regional, Downstream, and Channel Marketing & Sales and Shared Services teams (i.e. Compliance, Legal, Finance)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Franchise marketing team & other stakeholders to support marketing launch strategies in global market Work with Franchise marketing team & other stakeholders to obtain customer input/unmet needs for assigned products and develop marketing requirements specifications for new product development & sustaining product design changes Assists in the successful execution of all product launches and updates within designated portfolio Coordinate event management (VOC, focus groups, etc.); assists in developing key KOL relationships to support KCI presence at conferences and other relevant customer activities; KOL tours, educational events Educate and train the regional stakeholders and shared services on marketing tools and product positioning Develop knowledge in assigned products and technology; analyze market reports, competitive trends, clinical needs, customer behavior, sales feedback, etc. for incorporation into product strategies Collaborate with marketing, education, professional affiliations and sales to achieve strategic/tactical goals Provide support within the company in reference to product knowledge, overall marketing and branding strategies and product management. Monitor product performance and make market mix (product, price distribution, promotion) recommendations in response to customer and sales feedback Other duties as assigned by manager
Able to handle multiple tasks effectively and consistently to meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail, able to work autonomously Able to communicate and present effectively Able to work effectively in a team environment Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Strong understanding of market analysis, planning, development and management. Able to cultivate relationships and effectively interface with customers, field sales, and distributor organizations
Required experience and knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing sales, marketing, and product management/or development preferably in a health care or medical device environment Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills (Project Management experience or certification a plus) Examples and at least one sample of an effective project delivered in the past Clinical experience with assigned clinical area preferred Must be able to travel 20-40% of the timeThe information listed above is not a comprehensive list of all duties/responsibilities performed.
