Job Description

Job Summary:

Engineering intern will support lead engineers working on design development/launches, design and/or supply changes, or quality issues. Activities will include a combination of the following: testing, data collect/documentation, sample prep, material specification research, and drawing redlines/changes.

Principle Responsibilities: (essential job duties and responsibilities)

  • Draft documents for identified project work
  • Sample prep and execute testing
  • Analyze and graph data
  • Draft test reports and present to team members
  • Support lead engineer through related project tasks/activitities as assigned
  • Research materials specifications and creation of a database

Skills and Experiences:

  • Studies in engineering at bachelor level or higher
  • In Junior year or later
  • Experience with MS Office applications including:  Word, Excel, & Outlook

Education:

  • Studies in engineering at bachelor level or higher
  • In Junior year or later

Project Title: Sustaining Engineering Intern

Project Scope and Deliverables:

  • Primary project will be Controlled Chemical Substances Database
  • Deliverables include material specifications collection and the creation of a master database

Equipment needed:

  • 1 Laptop

Space requirements:

  • 1 cube
