The Tax Intern will support the Corporate Tax team in its tax provision, tax compliance, and tax planning projects. They will learn about corporate federal, state and local taxation, and deliver completed tax provisions, estimates, returns, etc. for review and feedback.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal, state and local income tax returns
  • Prepare federal, state and local estimated tax payments
  • Prepare indirect tax returns
  • Perform analysis of tax accounts
  • Prepare workpapers to support calculations
  • Research tax law
  • Assist with tax projects
  • Analyze tax data files
  • Interact and collaborate with individuals from other finance teams

Position Qualification Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate business major, preferably finance or accounting
  • Completed 2nd or 3rd year with basic business coursework earned credits
  • Experience with MS Office applications including:  Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • GPA in major greater than 3.0

All positions within Acelity’s Summer Internship program are paid or credit earning internships.
