Job Description

Job Summary:  The National Manager Disposable NPWT  is responsible for leading, managing and executing initiatives nationally for SNAP product and VA facilities to achieve annual financial and strategic goals.  Also responsible for developing strategic deployment of National Sales Strategies in support of existing and new accounts/markets.  This position will act as a Project Manager and take initiatives in leading projects, working collaboratively with other key stakeholders to advance SNAP & VA sales.  Equally, this position will be responsible for the direct leadership and guidance for the Senior Veteran Affairs (SVA) Sales Representatives. 

Principle Responsibilities: (essential job duties and responsibilities)

  • Lead the design, development and execution of national programs for NPWTi – Post Actue (WCC, HHA, SNF, VA facilities)
  • Develop sales strategies for increasing NPWTi & VA facilities sales in existing and new accounts and markets (WCC, hospital outpatient departments including same-day surgery; critical access hospitals, SNF, HHA, VA)
  • Align with leadership on all levels to have a uniform cohesive approach for sales
  • Work with multiple internal departments including com ops, sales ops, reimbursement; upstream and downstream marketing/franchise, distribution, pricing committee, government team, GHS team, Med Ed, NCC, CCG, FLaGS, etc
  • Act as Project Manager and iniative projects, engage other departments, keep timelines/deliverables through completion
  • Subject Matter Expert on SNAP- product knowledge should be comprehensive
  • Present at NSM & POA and contribute content (presentations etc) for various sales meetings  
  • Support RVP/DM conference calls – provide appropriate input and support
  • Ride alongs and field trips as needed (eg critical customer meetings, S&G TSV’s, SVA’s)
  • Work with RVPs and DM’s to support regional calls for low performers (eg SNAP rally calls)
  • Attend strategic trade shows (eg SAWC, Desert Foot conference)
  • Participate in corporate based meetings as needed (Com Ops, Dash, Franchise meetings, new hire training)
  • Support the Canadian team as needed (1-3 per year)
  • Ability to be available across multiple time zones to respond timely to daily phone calls, emails, and text messages from the field regarding SNAP & VA
  • Provide leadership to the SVA team including ride alongs at least once each quarter, advocating for better sales tracings for them, and weekly conference calls
  • Lead educational opportunities to expand Snap utilization with new and existing customer base through partnership with Center for Sales Leadership


  • Experience in leading projects using fundamental Project Management concepts and techniques including project definition, project chartering, work breakdown structures, resource assignment and allocation, and project scheduling
  • Experience in leading sales team(s)
  • Experience in leading improvement initiatives using fundamental process improvement concepts and techniques including problem definition; measurement, root cause analysis and process mapping;
  • Experience managing and ensuring adherence to project team budgets, projected financials, schedules, and milestones
  • Solid analytical, strategic capabilities and business acumen
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; compelling communication – present ideas clearly, concisely and professionally across multiple platforms including telephonic, live meetings, written communication

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred 
  • At least 5 years of experience leading program/projects initiatives to support national sales strategies and execution for products in fast paced and competitive industry
  • Demonstrated track record of accomplishment in varying leadership roles, preferably with medical device or healthcare experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proven experience in project management and total quality improvement process
  • Ability to travel regularly in the US domestic area to sales support locations, as well as visits into hospital and healthcare settings
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, & Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous wound care management experience
  • Previous medical device sales experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
