Job Description

Position Summary:

The SAE Coordinator position is responsible for:

• Performing Safety related tasks  in support of the clinical trials according to Company and Department procedures

• Acting as a liaison between the Safety Global group  and other Company Managers and Departments

Responsibilities

• Entering the SAEs into the Argus system

• Review them with the Director of Global Safety

• Request  and follow-up  for additional information

• Enter the follow-up SAE report

• Review and close the report when is completed

• Maintain confidential reports and records

• Assist in processing and/or escalation of cases

• Review of data listings and generating queries

• Producing safety reports

• Training CRAs on safety related procedures

• Confirms to, supports and enforces all Company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of  1 year of experience in processing SAEs

• Experience performing data listings review

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment required

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and external

• Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

Education Requirements

• Knowledge  and experience of  the SAE process

• LVN or Nurse degree
