Job Description

Job Summary:

Engineering intern will support Ops Leads working on design development/launches, design and/or supply changes, or quality issues. Activities will include sample prep/build, testing, data collect/documentation, material specification research, reviewing bills of materials, data entry, item set up support, and drawing redlines/changes.

Principle Responsibilities: (essential job duties and responsibilities)

  • Analyze drawings and bills of materials, compare/adjust Oracle system
  • Draft documentation changes and present to team members
  • Support lead engineer through related project tasks/activities as assigned

Skills and Experiences:

  • Studies in engineering at bachelor level or higher
  • In Junior year or later
  • Experience with MS Office applications including:  Word, Excel, & Outlook

Education:

  • Studies in engineering at bachelor level or higher
  • In Junior year or later

Project Title: Operations Engineering Intern

Project Scope and Deliverables:

  • Primary project work will be on Product Retirement Plans, researching BOMs and obsoleting documentation
  • Deliverables include drawing redlines, drafting change plans, collecting inputs to support product retirement

Equipment needed:

  • 1 Laptop

  • 1 cube
