Job Description Summary

 The Sr. Analyst will build & analyze complex data models to quantify commissions payouts, identify process improvements for executing payouts and provide education and training for KCI's U.S. sales force.  The Sr. Analyst will interact with various sales leaders and will participate in the strategy, design and execution of incentive compensation plans.  Primary executor of incentive compensation plans and payout models for KCI’s U.S. sales force.

Job Description

Principle Responsibilities: (essential job duties and responsibilities)

  • Strategic influential business partner to both the internal teams and the sales management teams.
  • Implement a culture of high quality, innovation, and analytical insight when processing incentive compensation payouts.
  • Work with U.S. sales leaders to design and maintain sales incentive compensation plans.
  • Deliver accurate analysis to evaluate gaps, strategy, and improve the incentive compensation plans and payout processing.
  • Consult with sales leadership to measure programs against industry benchmarks.
  • Use historical performance and forecasted events to deliver financial forecast for commissions.
  • Create, join, and manage complex data sets into a comprehensive data visualization platform (BI tools, Excel, etc) that can be used to drive root cause analysis of problems.
  • Lead the effort to modernize the incentive compensation process by utilizing systems, reporting tools and salesforce.com.
  • Create and document formalized processes to coach the sales team toward consistent best practices.
  • Work with Quota and Territory team to build consistent and repeatable processes for processing commissions monthly and quarterly.
  • Coordinate with the commissions supervisor to deliver accurate and timely incentive payouts to the US sales force.
  • Coordinate with the commissions supervisor to deliver monthly accrual and commissions forecast.
  • Assist in developing department SOPs, process workflows and best practices.
  • Work to identify data gaps and recommend processes to improve and maintain data accuracy in other reporting platforms (i.e. – CRM systems)

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and making recommendations to management, as well as conduct business studies and recommending solutions with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluating processes

•Experience in lean/six sigma and capacity management

•Adept at integrating disparate information, correlating data, and understanding data trends

•Proven ability to analyze and communicate complex business problems in simple terms

•Some reasonable travel may be required

•Proven ability to analyze and communicate complex business problems in simple terms

•Demonstrated ability to influence business partners in various leadership roles

•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail

•Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced growth environment

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

MBA degree in related field

•Six Sigma or Lean certification

•5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, engineering, consulting, or in a business analyst capacity

•Comfortable negotiating and arbitrating with Sales Leaders

•Experience leading complex projects in consulting role

 

Education:

Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, or related (i.e. Mathematics, Process, etc.).  Master’s degree preferred
