Job Description


In this role, the Audit Professional II performs professional internal auditing work across all the Company’s business segments. Key priorities of the program include assessing the Company’s internal control over financial reporting and assisting the Finance organization in implementing internal control enhancements. This is an individual contributor role and he/she is responsible primarily for executing audit projects, with the requisite supervision. The Audit Professional II reports to the Senior Director of Internal Audit.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify the organization’s audit risk areas
  • Assist more experienced team members in performing audit procedures, including testing internal controls, identifying issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting the Company’s processes and procedures
  • Assist in developing audit programs or testing steps, adapting an audit program to suit a business unit's specific environment
  • Conduct interviews with process owners, review documents, prepare concise, accurate documents using appropriate business and technical language
  • Assist in making recommendations for improvements and corrective action to enhance internal controls and minimize risks
  • Assist in communicating results of audits via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis
  • Develop and maintain productive team-oriented relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
  • Identify and execute opportunities to serve as team-lead on projects

Required Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems or Management Information Systems or business related field
  • Related Experience and Other Qualifications
  • Working to obtain or already certified as CPA or CIA

Required Experience and Other Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience 
  • Ability to travel at moderate levels as needed
  • Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions
  • Skill in managing assigned tasks and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting deadlines
