Summary:
The Senior S&OP Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Manager of the Americas Sales and Operations Planning group including analysis to support monthly S&OP process, daily inventory management and new product demand planning.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis in support of Americas Sales and Operations Planning team
  • Assemble analysis and input into a logically structured and effectively designed PowerPoint presentation to be used to guide the discussion in the S&OP meetings. 
  • Facilitate all S&OP and related meetings to achieve the meeting objectives. This facilitation includes Agenda design, meeting facilitation, and follow up.
  • Lead the collection of inputs from the service operations, finance, and manufacturing teams in support of the rental fleet planning. The outcome of this process is to identify where the current rental fleet size is either insufficient to meet demand or in excess of requirements
  • Lead cross functional projects related to supply chain and manufacturing issues as needed. These projects will require working with engineering, sourcing, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and logistics
  • Manage the inventory ordering system to maintain target level of service for DDC customer orders, DDC service center orders (US, Canada, and LATAM), and service center (SVC) customer orders including: Daily update of the Distribution Requirements Plan (DRP) for DDC and SVC, replenishment orders for US, Canada and LATAM DDC’s, replenishment to US Service Operations
  • Provide customer service support to GSC order management, KCI Canada, and the US based Advantage center on all issues related to disposables (shortages, shelf life, etc.)
  • Represent Americas Sales & Operations Planning as primary P.O.C.  for projects and business objectives involving distribution of finished goods and replenishment planning
  • Solve complex business problems across Americas regions (US, Canada, Latin America).  These supply chain problems could result in lost business opportunities or patients going without care
  • Integrate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable supply chain plans in support of business objectives. Observe trends and react with appropriate countermeasures. Execute these plans and countermeasures proactively with minimal management oversight
  • Support New Product demand planning through monthly interactions with engineering, franchise and marketing

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, financial analysis, or project management
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP, MRP II, MRP, SCP, APS, or DRP systems

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis and business modeling
  • Full working knowledge of inventory management such as the use of safety stock, decoupling stock, lead time stock, order interval stock, etc.  Knowledge base should include industry best practices
  • Intermediate understanding of Supply Chain principles including Demand Management, DRP Planning, Master Production Planning
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, internal/external suppliers and fellow team members at all levels
  • Experience working effectively with cross functional teams with remotely located team members and stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in visual data display and analysis including the appropriate use of tables, charts, and graphs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of meeting management including agenda design and group facilitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS CPIM or relevant professional planning association certification
  • Exposure to Supply Chain Planning modules and tools within the Oracle suite of products
  • Intermediate knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Process Excellence, PDCA, etc
  • APICS CPIM or relevant professional planning association certification
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
  • Experience with the application of DRP or DRP II in a multiple distribution center logistics system
  • Experience with customer order management in a distribution or manufacturing setting
  • Service parts inventory management experience
  • Logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience
