Job Description

This position is responsible for analysis, working in the Advantage Center Order to Cash function.  The Revenue Management Senior Financial Analyst collaborates with the Advantage Center and finance management team to drive revenue growth and expense reduction through predictive analytics and data mining.  This position identifies significant opportunities and designs action plans with measurable targets.  This position is also responsible for understanding process maps and continuous improvement methodologies.

Principle Responsibilities (essential job duties and responsibilities):

  • Assists business partners through financial modeling to reflect opportunities under consideration, including applicable business models and strategies
  • Assists the department leaders in creating solutions for operational dilemmas and communicating business needs to IT
  • Performs data mining and analysis that will help correct revenue leakage or customer service shortfalls
  • Participates in projects and cross-functional project teams focused on improving business unit financial performance
  • Develops robust financial modeling to capture and appropriately reflect the financial implications of the various initiatives
  • Develops, reviews, and maintains meaningful operational dashboards, metrics, and scorecards to ensure business operations are in alignment with corporate strategy
  • Develops a strong understanding of the revenue and associated drivers, and identifies opportunities to improve revenue realization and pricing
  • Provides management with insightful observations and suggestions for improvement
  • Ensures that all outputs are accurate, consistent and reflect current business processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of financial modeling and analytical work experience  

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mid to large corporate environment with large data sets
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel & Access
  • Knowledge of statistical process controls and modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all employees, while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and appropriately prioritize work, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, Datameer or another enterprise-level data mining tools
  • Experience providing management with clear, concise summaries of analyses and actionable insights
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc
