Sr. Programmer Analyst
Senior Programmer Analyst with KCI USA INC in San Antonio, TX. Responsible for working closely with the business to understand requirements, develop specifications, perform basic system design, as well as oversee development, test plan creation and testing. The person will implement moderately complex application programs in compliance with IT policies and procedures. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Design and develop new applications, interfaces or enhancements to existing systems.
- Specify alternate program design approaches and prepare cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions Verify that systems meet service level agreements.
- Design, implement, and document procedures.
- Advise users regarding program techniques and design.
- Maintain program libraries, users’ manuals, or technical documentation.
Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or other closely related field of study; plus 5 years (60 months) of work experience in the offered position or other closely related alternate occupations.
